How to Create a Facebook Page Tab with a Custom Icon:
1 – Create your icon and save it as a 75×75 pixel JPG, GIF or PNG
2 – Open notepad
3 – Go to http://developers.facebook.com/apps
4 – Click ‘create new app’ in the top right corner, enter your apps display name, agree to the Facebook Platform Policies and continue
5 – Enter the captcha and submit
6 – Copy and paste the App ID and App Secret in to notepad
7 – Edit the icons at the top to upload your custom icon
8 – Scroll to the bottom and select page tab, then enter the following information:
Page Tab Name: What your tab is called
Page Tab URL: http://APPID.iframehost.com/tab
Secure Page Tab URL: https://APPID.iframehost.com/tab
9 – Replace ‘APPID’ in ‘Page Tab URL’ and ‘Secure Page Tab URL’ with the App ID you pasted in to Notepad, then save changes
10 – Visit the following URL, replacing ‘APPID’ with your new app’s ID: http://www.facebook.com/add.php?api_key=APPID&pages
11 – Select the page you want to add it to and click ‘add to page’ – ignore the error message that appears.
12 – Visit your page and click on the tab
13 – Enter your app secret (which should be pasted in to notepad), then click ‘save app settings’
13 – Refresh the page and authorise the application
15 – Create the content using either HTML coding or the WYSIWYG editor
